The 11th Festival of Sacred Arts will take place on August 11th - 19th 2007. The schedule will be announced in April 2007.

Among the main events are renditions of two great pieces from the baroque era. The Hallgrímskirkja choir and the International Den Haag Baroque Orchestra render a mass in H minor by Johann Sebastian Bach and Messiah by Georg Friedrich Händel.

A psalm festival will be held in Hallgrímskirkja on "Cultural Night" with participation by the artists who take part in this year's psalm theme. Performances will include select cantatas by Buxtehude and Bach.

Additionally there will be continued collaboration with Deus ex cinema in the area of religious films, theatre and art.
